* The island shares similarities with Navel Island in the Orange Islands, since not only do they both have the word "navel" in their names, but they are also home to an extremely tall mountain. Despite this, Navel Rock does not appear to have a mountain when viewed from outside, in a similar fashion to Hoenn's Mt. Pyre.

This applies to both FireRed and LeafGreen and Emerald. These are three of the six tracks shared between these games, with the others being:

** While all tracks from FireRed and LeafGreen are present in Emerald's code, only the above tracks are used.

Pokémon world locations

Navel Rock (Japanese: へそのいわ Navel Rock) is an island between Four and Five Islands in the Sevii Islands, accessible in Pokémon FireRed, LeafGreen, and Emerald. The Legendary Pokémon Lugia and Ho-Oh roost on this island.

Role

A player can only access Navel Rock by downloading the MysticTicket through Mystery Gift and sailing there by talking to the sailor in front of the Seagallop Ferries in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, or by boarding the S.S. Tidal in Pokémon Emerald.

In FireRed and LeafGreen, like Birth Island, Navel Rock is invisible on the Town Map by default, only appearing when the player first arrives there. This is in contrast to the other Sevii Islands, which do appear on the Town Map. In Emerald, it never appears in the PokéNav's map.
