Mummy (Ability)

Mummy (Japanese: ミイラ Mummy) is an Ability introduced in Generation V. Two Pokémon have this Ability, both in the same evolutionary line.

Effect

In battle

When the user is attacked by a contact move, the opposing Pokémon's Ability is turned into Mummy as well. The affected Pokémon's Ability returns to normal when they are returned to their Poké Ball.

Multitype, Wonder Guard and Mummy itself are the only Abilities not affected by Mummy.

Outside of battle

Mummy has no effect outside of battle.
