This card's Toxic Gas Poké-Body comes from the {{TCG|Pokémon Power}} of the same name possessed by {{TCG|Fossil}} {{TCG ID|Fossil|Muk|13}}, which had a very similar effect. The primary differences are that Fossil Muk's power cancels out Pokémon Powers (and, by extension, Poké-Powers and Poké-Bodies), whereas Muk ex's Toxic Gas only works on Poké-Powers and Poké-Bodies, and that Muk ex must be active for the power to work, whereas Fossil Muk's worked even from the Bench.
