Mr. Pokémon's House in Generation II

Mr. Pokémon (Japanese: ポケモンじいさん Old Man Pokémon) casually researches Pokémon findings as a hobby. He is old friends with Professor Oak. He keeps in contact with Professor Elm because he knows that Elm is the authority on Pokémon evolution.

He received one of the first Pokémon eggs from a couple who run a Pokémon Day Care. He delivered his findings to Professor Elm via Gold/Kris/Kotone in the beginning of Pokémon Gold, Silver, Crystal, HeartGold and SoulSilver. It would appear that the overzealous Mr. Pokémon had contacted Elm with less credible findings in the past, however.

His house, located just north of Cherrygrove City, would suggest that he travels a great deal since he has a large collection of foreign magazines and coins. He also has a broken computer.

In exchange for a Red Scale, obtained from either catching or defeating the Red Gyarados in the Lake of Rage, he will give the player an Exp. Share.

Mr. Pokémon also owns a wide arrange of foreign Pokémon magazines.
