Mount Lanakila (Japanese: ラナキラマウンテン Lanakila Mountain) is the tallest mountain in Alola, located on Ula'ula Island. It is located north of Tapu Village and its peak is the site of Alola's newly-established Pokémon League. While the area is initially under construction, the construction will be complete by the time the player completes all of their island challenges and has ended the situation with Lusamine. It was mentioned by Nanu that in the past prior to the establishment of the Pokémon League, Mount Lanakila was the location of the final trial, where similar to the Elite Four, a Trainer must defeat all four Island Kahunas in a row.
Crabrawler will evolve into Crabominable if leveled up here, and an Ice Rock is present inside the mountain's cave, which will cause Eevee to evolve into Glaceon if leveled up inside. In Pokémon Sun and Moon, the player could not enter Mount Lanakila at all until rescuing Lusamine. In Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, however, the player can access the base of the mountain, and tall grass can be found there, allowing them to level up and evolve their Crabrawler.

In the anime
Mount Lanakila was first mentioned in Lillie's Egg-xhilarating Challenge!, where Lillie received an Egg found there from Samson Oak. The Egg later hatched into an Alolan Vulpix, which Lillie caught and nicknamed "Snowy".
Name origin
Lanakila is Hawaiian for "victory", in reference to the Victory Roads of other regions.
