(Japanese: Misaki) is a character of the day who appeared in SS008.

Misaki first appeared when she contacted the Sakuragi Institute after her Piplup found its way to Vermilion City and was brought their by Ash and Go who arranged to bring it to Sinnoh for her. Misaki met them soon after they arrived and was reunited with her Piplup. After meeting Ash and Go, she explained why Piplup swam away. Misaki watched as Piplup and Croagunk took part in the Ice Flow Race where the race was interrupted by Team Rocket who captured all the Pokémon before attacking the ship with Beartic causing Misaki to cling to the ship, making her lose her glasses. Misaki was saved from falling into the water when Piplup and Croagunk worked together to cut a life raft from the ship for her to land on. She later waved goodbye to Ash and Go as they returned to Kanto, only for her glasses to fall into the ocean once again, this time picked up by a Psyduck.

		Piplup is Misaki's first known Pokémon. Misaki first met Piplup when her glasses fell into the ocean and Piplup retrieved them for her. It later swam away when a Croagunk did the same, winning Misaki's affections. Piplup arrived at the port of Vermilion City where it was found by Ash and Go who took it to the Sakuragi Institute where they were soon contacted by Misaki. Ash and Go took it to Sinnoh and returned it to Misaki where she revealed what happened. Annoyed at Croagunk, Piplup entered themselves into the Ice Flow Race to see who was the better swimmer. The race was interrupted by Team Rocket who captured the other Pokémon but Piplup continued racing against Croagunk, only stopping when Misaki's fell into the ocean. After retrieving the glasses, Piplup helped to save Misaki after she was knocked off the ship by cutting free a life raft for her to safely fall into. Piplup was later shocked when Misaki's glasses fell into the ocean and a Psyduck retrieved them.

		Croagunk
		Croagunk is Misaki's second known Pokémon. Misaki first met Croagunk when her glasses fell into the ocean and Croagunk retrieved them for her. This caused Piplup to become jealous and it swam away. When Piplup was returned to Misaki, Piplup was still jealous so it entered itself and Croagunk into the Ice Flow Race to see who was the better swimmer. The race was interrupted by Team Rocket who captured the other Pokémon but Croagunk continued racing against Piplup, only stopping when Misaki's fell into the ocean.
