Miracle Eye (Japanese: ミラクルアイ Miracle Eye) is a non-damaging Psychic-type move introduced in Generation IV.
Effect
Generation IV
Miracle Eye causes accuracy checks against the target to ignore changes to the target's evasion stat stages if its evasion stat stage is greater than 0. If Miracle Eye's target is a Dark-type Pokémon, it also removes the target's immunity to Psychic-type moves. Miracle Eye's effect ends when the target switches out.
Miracle Eye bypasses accuracy checks to always hit its target, unless the opponent is in the semi-invulnerable turn of a move such as Dig or Fly.
Generation V onwards
Miracle Eye can now be reflected with Magic Coat.
Miracle Eye will now fail if used against a Pokémon already under its effect.
Miracle Eye can also be used as part of a Contest Spectacular combination, causing a one-hit knockout move to give an extra three appeal points if used in the next turn.
If powered up by a Psychium Z into Z-Miracle Eye, the user's Special Attack stat raises one stage.
