Milos Island is also known as the "Island of Legends", because an ancient legend that tells of a time when {{p|Tornadus}} and {{p|Thundurus}} wreaked havoc across the island. {{p|Landorus}} pleaded with the warring forces for peace, but was attack in response. A shrine maiden and a {{p|Gothita}} offered Landorus a [[Revival Herb]], giving Landorus the strength to banish Thundurus and Tornadus. In honor of the gift, Landorus showered Milos Island with Revival Herb seeds. Today Milos Island remains the {{pkmn|world}}'s only source of Revival Herbs. Three obelisks, one on each of island, were later constructed to keep the [[Forces of Nature]] locked away.


Milos Island is the home of the [[Abundant Shrine]] in the anime where {{p|Landorus}} sleeps. Connected to the island are two smaller islands that house the shrines of {{p|Tornadus}} and {{p|Thundurus}} who also rest peacefully. However their peace was interrupted thanks to Team Rocket's destruction of their shrines. As a result they awoken angrily and began to wreak havoc on the island. Ash, Iris, Cilan and [[Lewis]] were able to stop them with the help of Landorus and after that peace returned to the island.

Milos Island (Japanese: ミロス島 Milos Island) is an anime-exclusive location in the Unova region. It exists off the coastline of Driftveil City.
