Release information

This card was first released as a Non Holofoil Wizards Black Star Promo through the Pokémon League starting January 8, 2000. This print has the collection number 8. In Japan, it was included in the Mystery of the Fossils expansion as a Holofoil card. It was reprinted as another Wizards Black Star Promo, this time Holofoil and with the collection number 9, and was available through the Pokémon League from April 2000. In Japan, a glossy version of the initial English print was included in the May 2000 issue of Gotta Comic, released on May 1, 2000.
