Melemele Meadow first appeared in A Seasoned Search!, where Ash and Mallow followed an Oricorio there to find the Yellow Nectar necessary for perfecting one of Mallow's recipes. Team Rocket tried to steal the Nectar for themselves, but they were defeated when Mallow's Bounsweet evolved into Steenee. Mallow was then able to collect the Nectar she had come looking for.
