Mega Energy is a type of currency introduced in Pokémon GO used to temporarily Mega Evolve certain species of Pokémon. Similar to Candy, each type of Mega Energy is specific to one evolutionary line.

Acquisition
Mega Energy is normally obtained by completing Mega Raids, which will reward Mega Energies specific to the Raid Boss that was defeated. Mega Energy for Beedrill will be obtainable through a Special Research event.
