Fukuda describes his illustrations as cute, colourful and vibrant. He uses his eye for color and detail to give the Pokémon he depicts character and depth, making his images very striking and distinctive. He provided illustrations for all {{TCG|Pokémon ☆}} in the TCG, which are perhaps his most prominent as he purposefully exaggerates the angles and colors used to make them stand out.
