Makoto Ishii (Japanese: 石井真 Ishii Makoto) is a Japanese voice actor for the Pokémon anime.
Biography
Ishii was born on February 24, 1976, in Chiba, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, and became a voice actor as an adult. He occasionally lent his voice to the Pokémon anime during the Advanced Generation and Diamond & Pearl series. Then, during the Best Wishes series, he voiced his best-known role, which was Cress, one of the three Striaton City Gym Leaders and brothers. Ishii is currently affiliated with Remax.
