The Magikarp High Jump Competition

The Magikarp High Jump Competition (Japanese: コイキング・ハイジャンプ大会 Koiking High Jump Tournament) is an anime-exclusive competition that is held annually in the Kanto region for Trainers and their Magikarp. The tournament was featured in Splash, Dash, and Smash for the Crown!.

Competition

The Magikarp High Jump Competition involves participating Magikarp using Splash to jump into the air. After landing, the height of each individual jump is measured to see whose Magikarp jumped the highest.

In Splash, Dash, and Smash for the Crown!, Goh competed in the tenth annual tournament, hoping to defeat the previous winner Kasukarp. Goh reached the finals, but lost to Kasukarp on the technicality that his Magikarp failed to land within the specified time. With that, Kasukarp defended his title and earned his tenth straight victory.
