The Pokémon Journal is a gossip magazine that has appeared in many of the main series games. However, the articles themselves can only be found in Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen and Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. In the former, the articles serve as a source for Fame Checker entries, usually including facts possessing rumor-like characteristics. In the latter, the articles simply provide basic advice and highlight certain gameplay mechanics.
