Madeleine (EP244)
Madeleine (Japanese: みやび Miyabi) is a character of the day who appeared in Enlighten Up!.
She is a student of ten years at the Slowpoke Temple in Johto. She is the follower of a religion similar to Buddhism in which the founder meditated along with some Slowpoke until he cleared his head of all worldly thoughts and found enlightenment.
She had previously meditated along with Gary, spurring on Ash to attempt the temple training as well. Madelaine took Ash, his friends and Team Rocket through a series of exercises including cleaning and fishing; however, Ash and Team Rocket were too distracted to successfully complete the tasks. Later, she and her newly evolved Slowbro defeated the Rocket trio after they tried to steal the Slowpoke Temple's golden statue.

| Slowbro first appeared as a Slowpoke when Ash and his friends were fighting with Team Rocket at Lake Slowpoke. As soon as it went up to them, they stopped fighting.
Slowpoke has been known for catching many giant Pokémon while it was fishing. The last one Slowpoke caught was a Shellder, which resulted in it evolving into a Slowbro. With its new strength, Slowbro used Confusion to stop Team Rocket from getting away with the giant statue from the Slowpoke Temple, and returned it to its rightful spot. Slowbro's only known move is Confusion. | ||
