This card was included in the Ancient Origins expansion, first released in the Japanese Bandit Ring expansion. A Jumbo version of the card was included in the Shiny Rayquaza-EX Box, released on August 19, 2015.

Emerald Break is the name of the Japanese expansion in which the original print of M Rayquaza-EX was released. This card features the Shiny version of Mega Rayquaza. This card is based on the Colorless M Rayquaza-EX from Roaring Skies.
