This card was included as a Regular card and a Full Art card in the English BREAKthrough expansion, first released in the Japanese Blue Shock expansion. Both prints feature artwork by 5ban Graphics. The first printing of the Full Art print in Japanese misspells Vanishing as Vanising in the card's artwork. A Jumbo version of the Regular print was available in the Mega Mewtwo Box for European countries and in the M Mewtwo-EX Special Jumbo Card Pack: Blue Shock/Rage of the Broken Heavens Ver. for those in Japan. The Japanese Jumbo print was released as an unnumbered XY-P Promotional card. In Japan, the Regular print was reprinted in the Premium Champion Pack as a Mirror Reverse Holofoil.
