(Japanese: 神速のゲノセクト ミュウツー覚醒 Extreme Speed Genesect: Mewtwo's Awakening) is the third Best Wishes series movie and the sixteenth Pokémon movie overall. It will be released in Japan on July 13, 2013.

The movie is set to feature Genesect and Mewtwo in prominent roles. The "Genesect Army", a group of five Genesect, will appear in the film, led by a Shiny Genesect. The other four Genesect represent each of the four Drives. All five Genesect made an appearance prior to the release of the film in BW119 during a flashback.

Trivia

  • The setting for this film is based on New York City, including Central Park. Director Kunihiko Yuyama has stated that this is due to his desire to create a contrast between the ancient Genesect and a setting that embraces technology and civilization.
