Release information
This card was included in the Stormfront expansion, first released in the Japanese Intense Fight in the Destroyed Sky expansion. In Japan, it was reprinted as a Holofoil card, awarded to the champions of the 11th Movie Gym Challenge held in July 2008.
Trivia
The inability to use this card if a Luxury Ball is already in the discard pile mimics the item's rarity in the games: only one Luxury Ball was available in Generation III for free, while others had to be won in Contests or given by Selphy.
Origin
The Luxury Ball is a type of Poké Ball introduced in Generation III that makes Pokémon gain friendship more quickly.
