Lucy's Seviper (Japanese: アザミのハブネーク Azami's Habunake) is one of the Pokémon Pike Queen Lucy uses to battle Ash Ketchum in the anime and Emerald in the manga.
In the anime
Seviper was first seen when she clashed with Jessie's Seviper. Lucy's assistant Barbara belittled Jessie by pointing out the superior power of Lucy's Seviper. Her confidence proved true, as a clash of Poison Tails saw Lucy's Seviper overpower Jessie's. It then revealed an ability to use Flamethrower, sending Team Rocket blasting off.
When Ash challenged her, Lucy chose to use Seviper against Ash's Donphan. Seviper blocked Donphan's Take Down with Poison Tail. Donphan used a Defense Curl/Rollout combination to protect itself from Bite and knock Seviper back. Seviper knocked Donphan back with Poison Tail, but Donphan recovered and turned the momentum into a powerful Take Down, but Seviper lashed out with a perfectly timed Flamethrower, knocking Donphan back again. Seviper then blinded Donphan with a wall of smoke created by a Poison Tail into the water, then consumed the rolling Donphan in fire. Donphan pushed through the flames and, despite a last minute aerial dodge from Seviper, knocked it out with Rollout.

Lucy's Seviper is the most powerful Pokémon owned by Lucy in the manga, which she first used in an exhibition tag battle with Palace Maven Spenser and his Crobat. Lucy later uses her in her battle against Emerald when he challenged her at the end of the Battle Pike. During their battle, Seviper was able to poison the Blissey Emerald borrowed from Crystal using its Poison Fang, which forces him to switch to Starmie.
After losing her Shuckle and Milotic in the same battle, she uses Seviper again and defeats Emerald's Rapidash, leaving them both with one Pokémon. Blissey was able to withstand much abuse with its inherently high defense, but eventually lost ground and was beaten. As the other Brains were about to rejoice on Lucy's victory, Rapidash awoke and promptly defeated Seviper with its Overheat attack.
Later, Lucy uses Seviper against Guile Hideout alongside other Frontier Brains' Pokémon but lost.
