This is a reverse-chronological list of other (Non-Pokémon) event distributions that were given away through the various mystery gift functions in Generation IX.

Variety Ball Set

A code for a variety set of different Poké balls was distributed to players who bought Pokémon Scarlet or Violet at 7 Net in Japan. The codes were to players who preordered the game before 23:59 on November 17, 2022 and expire on March 7, 2023. One code is given for the purchase of a single game while two codes are given with the purchase of the Double pack. The codes were emailed to customers between August 26 and November 25, 2022. The variety set contains the following items:

A code for a backpack with a floral motive is given to players by certain retailers. The codes were distributed until February 28, 2023 and expire on March 7, 2023.

The codes were distributed by the following retailers:

  • In Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom, it was distributed by the online Pokémon Center store to players who placed a preorder before November 11, 2022 only. Here one code is given for the purchase of a single game while two codes are given with the purchase of the Double pack. The codes were emailed to customers by November 18, 2022.
  • In Japan, it was distributed by Amazon.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Downloadable Version Adventure Set

A serial code for this adventure set was distributed via email to players who bought Pokémon Scarlet or Violet digitally via the Nintendo Switch eShop. The codes were given out to players who bought the game before February 28, 2023, and expired on March 7, 2023. The adventure set contains the following Items:

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Double Pack Poké Balls

These Poké Balls were distributed via serial code to players who purchased the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Double Pack, both standard and steelbook, as well as the downloadable version from the Nintendo eShop which contained both games. one purchase would give the player 2 codes for 100 Poké balls each. Only 1 code can be redeemed per save file. These codes do not have a known expiry date.
