Revision as of 21:16, 18 June 2020

This is a reverse-chronological list of game-based Pokémon distributions that were given away using a game-based method to all region Pokémon games in Generation VIII. While HOME can be used to send Pokémon to and from Generation VII's Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!, no Pokémon compatible with those games have been distributed.

List of game-based Pokémon

Hidden Ability Galar Starters

This set of Hidden Ability Galar Starter Pokémon were released in conjunction of news regarding the Pokémon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass on June 2nd. Players could redeem these Pokémon from the mobile version after depositing a Pokémon from Pokémon Sword or Shield to HOME.

Mobile Version Kanto Starters

When the player starts the mobile version of Pokémon HOME for the first time, they will be given their choice of Kanto Starter Pokémon from Grand Oak. While it is not mentioned by Grand Oak, the starters have their Hidden Abilities. The player has the opportunity to nickname the following Pokémon listed below upon receiving them, and their OT and ID match the nickname the player picks when they start the mobile version.

Bulbasaur and Squirtle, despite not being present in the Galar Pokédex at the time of HOME's launch, are present in the data of Pokémon Sword and Shield, and may be sent there freely.
