World Hobby Fair Celebi

This Celebi was distributed at the 13th Next Generation World Hobby Fair held in Tokyo Big Sight on January 13 to 14, Fukuoka Dome on January 21, Osaka Dome on January 28, and Nagoya Dome on February 4. There were approximately 8,004 distributed in two days in Tokyo, while there were about 4,002 distributed in the other places.

This Celebi was distributed at the Shogakukan Annual Event as revealed in November issue of Shogakukan's CoroCoro Comics. There were approximately 2,100 distributed.

Nintendo Space World 2000 Celebi

This Celebi was distributed at the Nintendo Space World 2000.

In order to obtain a Celebi, players had to send in a postcard by July 31, 2000. From all the entrants, 100,000 were selected at random to receive Celebi. Those who were selected were given a Celebi gift ticket, which were sent two weeks before Nintendo Space World 2000. The gift ticket had to be taken to Nintendo Space World 2000 in order to obtain Celebi. In addition to this, Nintendo of America gave some gift tickets out to members of the press.
