(Japanese: レイ Lei) is a character of the day who appeared in JN037. He is the newborn son of Professor Kukui and Professor Burnet.

In Thank You, Alola! The Journey Continues!, it was revealed that Burnet was pregnant. When Ash returned to Alola in JN037, he met Lei when he reunited with Kukui and Burnet. Although Lei met Ash for the first time, he immediately took a liking to him as a big brother.
