Lei (Japanese: レイ Lei) is a recurring character who first appears in Pokémon Journeys: The Series. He is the baby son of Professor Kukui and Professor Burnet.

In the end credits of Thank You, Alola! The Journey Continues!, it was revealed that Burnet was pregnant.

Lei debuted in That New Old Gang of Mine!, where he met Ash, Goh, and Pikachu.
In Helping the Hometown Hero!, Lei attended a party celebrating Mohn's return to Alola, reuniting with Ash and Goh, and meeting Chloe. The next day, Burnet took him with her to watch a Battle Royal between Ash, Kukui, Gladion, and Kiawe.
In Paring Pokémon While Parrying! and Partners in Time!, Lei was seen watching Ash's Masters Eight Tournament match against Leon at the Pokémon School.
