Guipna (Japanese: ギプナ) is an anime-exclusive location in the Pokémon world. It was mentioned in The Bonds of Evolution!. Professor Sycamore described it as "one of the last unexplored regions in the world." Found in Guipna are the Guipna Highlands (English: Lapidarian Highlands).

Name origin

Guipna, spelled ギプナ in katakana, is derived from ギアナ (Guyana, or more generally The Guianas). Specifically, the Guipna Highlands are a reference to Guinea Highlands.
