Landis's Shinx appeared in Not on MY Watch Ya Don't!, where Ash, Dawn, and Brock had bought fake Pokétches from Team Rocket disguised as Clowns. Shinx noticed Dawn's Pokétch and barked for Landis, prompting him to snatch it off Dawn's wrist and put it under a nearby tap, causing the paints to come off. Landis insisted they come to his father's Pokétch Factory. Shinx watched as Landis's father used the Friendship Checker App on Pikachu, Piplup, and Croagunk.
That night in the Factory, Landis was watching his father examining Team Rocket's fake Pokétches as Shinx suddenly wandered off. Minutes later, they met up with Ash, Dawn, and Brock to tell them that Shinx had gone missing. They followed the trail of Pokémon until they found a huge box that all of the Pokémon were getting into, including Shinx. Landis tried to rescue Shinx, but Dawn rescued him from being crushed by the door. Suddenly, they found out that Team Rocket was behind this as they took the box away on their balloon. Dawn's Buneary launched an Ice Beam, freezing Team Rocket, snapping all of the Pokémon out of Psyduck's hypnotism, and freeing Shinx. Team Rocket sent out Carnivine and Seviper; Piplup and Buneary finished them off, but Pikachu was left worn out. Shinx decided to use Spark to recharge Pikachu, allowing him to launch a Thunderbolt that sent Team Rocket blasting off. Shinx's only known move is Spark. | ||
