Pokémon UNITE
Korrina and her Lucario appear in Pokémon UNITE as an enemy Trainer to fight during the Legacy Trainer Showdown event between September 9, 2022 and October 6, 2022. It took place on Theia Sky Ruins The other members of her team are Cynthia, Raihan, Leon, and Green. The event later returned between April 21, 2023 and May 21, 2023.

Korrina and her Lucario also appear as an enemy Trainer in the recurring Theia Sky Ruins event. This event has Casual, Intermediate, Expert, and Extreme difficulties. The composition of the opposing team varies depending on the event and the difficulty. The full team consists of herself, Cynthia, Raihan, Leon, and Green. In Cynthia themed events, Korrina and the other non-Cynthia members do not appear in the Casual difficulty, being replaced by Ace Trainers. On the Intermediate difficulty, only Leon and Green are replaced by Ace Trainers. In Leon themed events, Korrina and the other non-Leon members do not appear in the Casual difficulty, being replaced by Ace Trainers. On the Intermediate difficulty, only Cynthia and Green are replaced by Ace Trainers. In this mode, Korrina and her Lucario never use Holowear.

Unlike other Trainers in this game, Korrina and the non-Ace Trainer members of her team are represented with two-dimensional artwork instead of three-dimensional models. In the pre-battle splash screen, Korrina has a custom Unite Snapshot depicting her and her Lucario with two dimensional artwork. (The normal display of the Unite License/Holowear is not used.) This means her Battle Item is not shown. However, she uses Eject Button.

Korrina first appears in Santalune City, where she helps X and his friends face Celosia of Team Flare to retrieve X's stolen Kangaskhanite. Using her Mega Glove, Korrina Mega Evolves her Lucario into Mega Lucario and sends it out to battle. After X retrieves the Kangaskhanite, he uses it to evolve Li'l Kanga into Mega Kangaskhan and teams up with Lucario. Together, they defeat Celosia, forcing her to retreat since she knows that she's outmatched against two Mega-Evolved Pokémon. Later, Korrina meets up with X's friends and gives Tierno a pair of Roller Skates. When X states that he doesn't think it's important to have a successor ceremony for his Mega Ring, Korrina states that she refuses to acknowledge him as a successor. She questions her grandfather's decision to give X the Mega Ring and angrily storms off.
Korrina debuted in Lucky Lucario Was Here. She first appeared in Santalune City after being called there by Viola. As soon as she arrived, she helped X defeat Celosia, a Team Flare scientist, and retrieve a Kangaskhanite she stole. Later, Korrina gave Tierno a pair of Roller Skates as a gift. Upon learning X received his Mega Ring without the proper succession ceremony, Korrina refused to acknowledge X as a true Mega Evolution Successor and angrily left without telling him more about it.

Korrina goes back to Shalour City, where she angrily attacks her grandfather for giving X a Mega Ring and demands to know why he decided to do it. Before Gurkinn can give a proper answer, they are attacked by a Trevenant. Korrina immediately goes to battle it, but soon realizes that the attack is only a distraction to separate her from her grandfather. She looks outside to see Gurkinn being attacked by Essentia. After escaping from the Trevenant, Korrina skates down to the bottom floor to help Gurkinn. When Gurkinn realizes that Essentia is attempting to steal the tower by covering it in Trevenant's vines, he tells Korrina that they need to activate the Tower of Mastery's self destruct switch and protect the secrets of Mega Evolution. Although reluctant, Korrina agrees and helps her grandfather destroy the tower.
In Trevenant Pokes, Korrina returned to the Tower of Mastery, where she demanded that Gurkinn explain why he gave X a Mega Ring. Before Gurkinn could answer, the tower was attacked by a Trevenant used by Essentia, another Team Flare member. Korrina and Gurkinn fought the villain, only for Essentia to reveal she was distracting them while her Trevenant covered the tower in vines, trapping them inside. In order to prevent the secrets of Mega Evolution from falling into the wrong hands, Korrina reluctantly helped Gurkinn activate the Tower of Mastery's self-destruct mechanism, destroying the building and allowing them to escape.

Afterward, the two go into hiding. After being awoken from a dream of her training days, Korrina meets Diantha, another one of the students who received a Key Stone from Gurkinn. They go and meet up with Gurkinn, only to find him being attacked by Team Flare Admin Chalmers. They defeat Chalmers and save Gurkinn with their Mega-Evolved Pokémon. Diantha decides that they should go and find the Legendary Pokémon Yveltal's cocoon form since Team Flare has already secured the tree form of Xerneas. Further on in their journey, Korrina and the others find a wild Diancie being attacked by a thief. They manage to defeat the thief with their Mega-Evolved Pokémon, but Diancie is forced to find a new home. As it thanks them and leaves, Gurkinn reveals that Diancie is capable of Mega Evolution.
In Connecting with Gardevoir, Korrina met Diantha, one of Gurkinn's students. Diantha led Korrina to a nearby river where they found Gurkinn under attack by Chalmers, a Team Flare Admin. Once Gurkinn was rescued, he, Korrina, and Diantha used their Mega-Evolved Pokémon to defeat Chalmers. Afterward, Diantha joined Korrina and Gurkinn and they set off to keep the Legendary Pokémon Xerneas and Yveltal out of Team Flare's clutches.

Later, the group travels to the location of where Team Flare is preparing to take Xerneas's tree using a group of mind-controlled citizens from Vaniville Town. They find X and his friends there having been defeated by Celosia in an attempt to rescue the townspeople. Before Celosia can finish X off, he is saved by Korrina, Gurkinn, and Diantha, who use their Mega-Evolved team to battle Celosia and Essentia. While Gurkinn remains with X and his friends and Diantha is attacked by Malva, Korrina goes off alone to stop Celosia from taking Xerneas away to Team Flare's base. As the two battle, Korrina declares that she will not let Team Flare continue their takeover of Kalos, to which Celosia states that Team Flare has already taken it over and they just no longer need to keep their actions a secret. Korrina eventually defeats Celosia by having her Lucario throw Celosia's Aegislash at its Trainer, defeating the both of them at the same while also knocking Lucario out from exhaustion. Korrina confidently proclaims that she had won the battle, but fails to notice the Honedge lurking behind her. As she turns around, the Honedge attacks Korrina, sending her to fall onto the ground. X and his friends later find Korrina lying on the ground unconscious with the Key Stone in her Mega Glove removed.
In Tying Trevenant, Korrina, Gurkinn, and Diantha helped X and his friends fight Team Flare on 9 to stop them from taking Xerneas's tree form. Gurkinn helped X take on Essentia, Diantha was challenged by Malva, while Korrina went ahead to keep Celosia from transporting Xerneas to Team Flare's base. After a tough battle, Korrina's Korrina defeated Celosia's Aegislash, but fainted from exhaustion afterward. As she confidently proclaimed victory, Korrina failed to notice Celosia's lurking behind her and launching an attack. Later, X and his friends found Korrina's unconsciouus body, where they learned that Celosia successfully took Xerneas as well as taking the Key Stone in Korrina's Mega Glove.

Afterwards, Korrina was taken to a hospital in Laverre City to recuperate alongside the townspeople that were captured by Team Flare. Though her injuries weren't serious, the doctors speculated that the loss of her Key Stone would leave Korrina with some psychological trauma.
In Quilladin Stands, Korrina was taken to a hospital in Laverre City to recover from her injuries. In Floette Returns, three months after Team Flare's defeat, Korrina was revealed to have fully recuperated. X was asked by Korrina to come to Shalour City to become an official Mega Evolution Successor. Once X arrived at the city, however, Korrina was upset to see that he did not bring his friends for the succession ceremony. She then had him call for his friends before proceeding with the ceremony.

Three months after Team Flare's defeat, X was asked by Korrina to come to Shalour City to become an official Mega Evolution Successor.

Korrina (Japanese: コルニ Corni) is the Gym Leader of Shalour City's Gym, known officially as the Shalour Gym. She specializes in Fighting-type Pokémon. She gives the Rumble Badge to Trainers who defeat her. She is the only character in the games to have the Trainer class Successor (Japanese: けいしょうしゃ Successor).

In the core series games

Korrina about to battle the player
Korrina challenging the player at the Tower of Mastery

Korrina appears in Pokémon X and Y as a Gym Leader from Shalour City. Trainers who defeat Korrina will receive the Rumble Badge, along with TM98 (Power-Up Punch). According to the television show Gym Freaks and an NPC at Café Action!, she is a PR Video star. It also states that she dresses up in costumes; her magnificent legs able to shatter cave rocks into pieces using her axe-kick move.

Korrina first appears on Route 5, when one of her Lucario comes up to the player while she is doing some special training. She notes about how Lucario has taken a liking to the player's aura, then introduces herself to the player as the Shalour City Gym Leader. She then appears in Geosenge Town, where she challenges the player to a battle with her two Lucario.

After arriving in Shalour City, Korrina can be found in the Tower of Mastery with her grandfather Gurkinn, the Mega Evolution guru. Once the player wins the battle for the Mega Ring against their rival, Korrina will go to her Gym for a battle.

After battling her at the Gym, she will immediately invite the player to a rematch atop the Tower of Mastery. There, Korrina gives the player the Mega Ring. After that, the Lucario that had become close to the player temporarily joins their team, and the two have a one-on-one battle, using just their Lucario, both holding a Lucarionite. Win or lose, the player has the option of getting the Lucario that joined them for the battle.

Once the player obtains rank of Marquis/Marchioness at the Battle Chateau, Korrina and the other Gym Leaders will be able to be battled there for rematches. There, Korrina will possess the rank of Marchioness.

Korrina and her Lucario also appear as an enemy Trainer in the recurring Solo Challenge event.

Korrina is a recurring character in Pokémon the Series: XY who met Ash and his friends in Mega Revelations! on their way to her hometown. The group accompanied her as she traveled to Geosenge Town to understand and master the Mega Evolution of her trusted partner Lucario. She left the group at Pomace Mountain in The Bonds of Mega Evolution!, and eventually battled Ash in a Gym battle in Showdown at the Shalour Gym!, where Ash emerged victorious. She made later appearances in Pokémon the Series: XY, and returned in Pokémon Journeys: The Series.

Korrina in Pokémon Adventures

Korrina debuted in Lucky Lucario Was Here. She first appeared in Santalune City after being called there by Viola. As soon as she arrived, she helped X defeat Celosia, a Team Flare scientist, and retrieve a Kangaskhanite she stole. Later, Korrina gave Tierno a pair of Roller Skates as a gift. Upon learning X received his Mega Ring without the proper succession ceremony, Korrina refused to acknowledge X as a true Mega Evolution Successor and angrily left without telling him more about it.

In Tying Trevenant, Korrina, Gurkinn, and Diantha helped X and his friends fight Team Flare on Route 9 to stop them from taking Xerneas's tree form. Gurkinn helped X take on Essentia, Diantha was challenged by Malva, while Korrina went ahead to keep Celosia from transporting Xerneas to Team Flare's base. After a tough battle, Korrina's Lucario defeated Celosia's Aegislash, but fainted from exhaustion afterward.
