Klutz (Japanese: ぶきよう Clumsy) is an ability introduced in Generation IV. Two Pokémon have this ability, both from the same evolutionary line.

In battle

Klutz prevents the use of held items. The ability disables the battle effect of the held item, rather than preventing an item from being held. Items which affect EXP or Effort Values, such as the Lucky Egg or the Power Weight, can still be used.

Outside of battle

Klutz has no effect outside of battle.
