A Kindler (Japanese: キャンプファイヤー Campfire) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that first debuted in the Generation III games. They are depicted as men in aprons carrying a pair of flaming torches. They only appear in Generation III games and their remakes.

They specialize in Fire-type Pokémon, which are seemingly used to start fires. Quite often, a member of the Slugma or Numel evolutionary family is used. One Kindler uses a Wingull, which he possibly uses to put out fires.

In the Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire arc Blaise, a previous Admin of Team Magma had became a Kindler after his teams defeat. He finds Amber at the Team Aqua Hideout and suggest that they should team up.
