Keen Eye (Japanese: するどいめ Keen Eye) is an Ability introduced in Generation III. Thirty-four Pokémon can have this Ability.
Effect
In battle
Generation III
Keen Eye prevents loss of accuracy.
Generation VI
Keen Eye now also ignores any boosts to the opponent's evasion.
Outside of battle
From Pokémon Emerald onwards, if a Pokémon with Keen Eye is leading the party, there is a 50% chance that a Pokémon that would be encountered will not appear if its level would be 5 levels or more below the leading Pokémon's. It shares this effect with Intimidate.
