Katie (AG148)

Cadee (Japanese: サキエ Sakie) is the character of the day in A Chip Off The Old Brock. She is voiced by Jamie Peacock in English and 横尾まり Mari Yokoo in Japanese.

Cadee makes medicines by using the electric powers of her Mareep. She runs a pharmacy with the help of her granddaughter, Mariah, and McCauley. McCauley always wants to impress her and tries to make the medicine exactly like she does. However, she could not sell the medicine he made because it wasn't done right.

Cadee demonstrated to Ash and company how she makes her potion. The special ingredient was dew from a Sunkern leaf.

Later, when she catches McCauley trying to make the medicine again, she explains to him that he needs to have more confidence in himself as well as his Ampharos. Soon, the pharmacy gets abducted by Team Rocket, who plan to sell her medicine.

Cadee asks Brock to shoot down Team Rocket's balloon with Marshtomp's Mud Shot. When he does, Team Rocket reflects it back, which hurts her Mareep and Ash's Pikachu. McCauley and Mariah quickly whip up a medicine to make Mareep and Pikachu feel better.

After Team Rocket is defeated, Cadee finds out that McCauley and Mariah had made a perfect potion without the use of dew from a Sunkern leaf. It is then that she feels confident enough in McCauley and Mariah to leave the pharmacy to them.

• Unlike Mariah and McCauley's Japanese names, Cadee's Japanese name doesn't seem to relate at all to her Pokémon's name.
