Kanoa (Japanese: カノア Kanoa) is a character of the day who appeared in Balloons, Brionne, and Belligerence!.
He is a treasure hunter and a surfer and the boyfriend of Ida. He and Ida belong to the Seafolk, a group of people who travel around the seas of the world. While stopping in Hau'oli City, Kanoa had not been able to find any treasure, despite his best efforts. In order to make an income, Ida decided to perform on the streets with her Brionne. While doing so, she and Kanoa met up with Ash, Lana, and Mallow.

Similar to Lana's Popplio, it is able to make water balloons of varying size and color. Brionne's only known move is Aqua Jet. Brionne can perform the Z-Move Hydro Vortex. | ||
