Other non-Pokémon roles

  • She was credited as 鈴木カオリ Kaori Suzuki when May returned during Pokémon the Series: Diamond and Pearl.
  • She is currently a member and singer of Spunky Strider.
  • It has been reported in 2012 that KAORI has been diagnosed with a severe health condition affecting her larynx known as spasmodic dysphonia, severely impairing her ability to speak.[1] As a result, neither May nor Max have made any further appearances in the anime following Pokémon: The Series: Diamond and Pearl except in either flashbacks or brief, non-speaking cameos.
