Jeremiah (Japanese: ウブカタ Ubukata) is a recurring character who appeared in Classroom Training! and Sliding Into Seventh!.

He is a salaryman of the Pokétch Company in Jubilife City and one of the students in Snowpoint Trainers' School. During the test, he answered all of Candice's questions correctly while Ash impatiently answers them, resulting in the wrong answers. Because of this, Jeremiah thinks Ash is not a truly skilled Trainer, and only won his Badges by luck. After the test, he tried to take back the Poké Balls stolen by Team Rocket. He engaged in battle with James's Carnivine with his Skuntank, but Carnivine's Vine Whip incapacitated Skuntank, not allowing it to use any moves. They were later helped by Ash and his friends, and he apologized to Ash.

In Sliding Into Seventh!, he is seen looking after a class of younger students, and when Team Rocket attempts to steal the school's Poké Balls for a second time, he uses his Skuntank's ability to chase Team Rocket away.

He made a brief cameo in A Grand Fight for Winning! watching the Sinnoh Grand Festival in the Snowpoint Trainers' School, alongside Candice.

		Jeremiah's Skuntank first appeared in Classroom Training, where Jeremiah explained that after working in Jubilife City most of his life he decided to begin a Pokémon journey and chose Skuntank as his starter. Later it battled James's Carnivine and was about to be defeated when it was saved by Pikachu. It reappeared in the next episode when Jeremiah used its Stench Ability to force Team Rocket out of a shed where they had hidden themselves. Skuntank's known moves are Scratch and Night Slash, and its Ability is Stench.
