Jaw Lock (Japanese: くらいつく Seize with Teeth) is a damage-dealing Dark-type move introduced in Generation VIII.

Jaw Lock inflicts damage and prevents the user and the target from fleeing or switching out (even if they are allies). After either of them faints, the other Pokémon will be able to flee or switch out starting the following turn (even if it used to be unable to do so by an effect other than Jaw Lock).

Description

Games Description
SwSh This move prevents the user and the target from switching out until either of them faints. The effect goes away if either of the Pokémon leaves the field.
