Kane and Iizō
(Japanese: 飯野イイゾー Iizō Iino) and (Japanese: 飯野カネ Kane Iino) are recurring characters in the Pokémon anime. They are both husband and wife.
Iizō and Kane first appeared in Mother of All Battlers!. Both are residents of Twinleaf Town as well as Dawn's neighbors.
They reappeared in A Faux Oak Finish! where it was shown that they are fans of Professor Oak. However, they and Johanna confused James for the real Professor Oak. They also appeared in Historical Mystery Tour frequently.
Iizō and Kane also made an appearance in Challenging A Towering Figure! and served as judges for Palmer's tournament.
