Trivia

  • Despite Iris being referred to as a Champion, the Unova Gym Leader theme is used while battling her, possibly as a reference to her status as a Gym Leader in Pokémon White. In addition, she uses her Gym Leader outfit, and her sync move mindscape features the Opelucid Gym. She also has the Gym Leader Theme skill instead of the Champion Theme skill.
