Intimidate (Japanese: いかく Intimidation) is an ability introduced in Generation III that lowers the foe's attack upon entering battle. Nineteen Pokémon have this ability. Outside of battle, if the Pokémon with Intimidate is leading the party, then Intimidate decreases the chance of encountering a lower-level wild Pokémon by 50% (see also Keen Eye).
Flavor Text: Lowers the foe's Attack stat.
