The town appeared again in Trial and Tribulation!, where Officer Jenny drove Ash there for his grand trial battle with Hala. After Ash emerged victorious, he was about to receive a Fightinium Z from Hala as a reward for defeating him, but at the last second, Tapu Koko switched it with an Electrium Z, which Hala ended up giving Ash instead.
The town appeared again in Family Determination!, where Ash, his classmates, and Professor Kukui traveled there in order to ask advice from Hala regarding Lillie and Gladion's plan to save their mother from Ultra Space, which they would need an Ultra Wormhole for in order to succeed. The Island Kahuna told them about a legend regarding Solgaleo, and advised the group to visit the Altar of the Sunne on Poni Island.
