"I've Got a Secret" is a musical number from the American musical Pokémon Live!. This selection is a trio performed by Delia Ketchum, Misty, and Ash Ketchum.

Context

This song is performed midway through Act 2. Delia and Professor Oak have escaped from Giovanni's secret headquarters and are fleeing through a nearby forest. In the same forest, Brock and Misty are searching for Ash's faithful friend Pikachu, while Ash has wandered off on his own.

"I've Got a Secret" reflects the inner turmoil of the three characters at this moment in the musical. Delia is struggling with the shame of her past as a peripheral member of Team Rocket, and she fears Ash's reaction to this news. Misty wants to reveal her feelings to Ash, but she is also afraid of his reaction. Finally, Ash is grieving for his missing Pikachu, but he simultaneously realizes that he must continue his journey.

It should be noted that Delia's connection to Team Rocket exists only in Pokémon Live, and is nowhere established in the official Japanese canon.
