Hiroshi is a very minor one-time character in the Pokémon anime who appeared in the episode Curbing the Crimson Tide!, he is voiced by 西村ちなみ Chinami Nishimura in Japanese. He only appeared at the very beginning of the episode, and did not receive a name in the dubbed episodes.

Hiroshi
He is shown to be very brave and has an inability to back down from a challenge, and accepts Red Lightning's challenge to a Pokémon battle despite his friends' warnings. He battled Red Lightning with his Poliwag and lost, and was disgusted and sad when Red Lightning drew on Poliwag's face.
When he takes Poliwag to the Pokémon Center, he runs into Ash and his friends, and explains who Red Lightning to them, which causes them to want to challenge and defeat it.
