Heavy Slam (Japanese: ヘビーボンバー Heavy Bomber) is a damage-dealing Steel-type move introduced in Generation V. It is TR79 in Generation VIII.
Effect
Generations V and VI
This move effect may be in need of research. Reason: Power when target weights exactly 25% or 20% of the user's weight You can discuss this on the talk page. |
Heavy Slam deals damage. Its power depends on the weight of both the user and the target; the lighter the target is in comparison to the user, the greater the power:
Target's relative weight | Power |
---|---|
More than 50% | 40 |
33.34% - 50% | 60 |
25% - 33.33% | 80 |
20% - 25% | 100 |
20% or less | 120 |
Generation VII
If the target has used Minimize, Heavy Slam now deals double its regular damage and bypasses accuracy checks to always hit, unless the target is in the semi-invulnerable turn of a move such as Dig or Fly.
