Heat Crash (Japanese: ヒートスタンプ Heat Stamp) is a damage-dealing Fire-type move introduced in Generation V. Prior to Generation VIII, it was the signature move of Tepig's evolutionary line. It was TR88 in Generation VIII. In Generation IX, it is the signature move of Rolycoly's evolutionary line.

Effect

Generation V

Heat Crash deals damage. Its power depends on the weight of both the user and the target; the lighter the target is in comparison to the user, the greater the power:

Target's relative weight Power
More than 50% 40
33.35% - 50% 60
25.01% - 33.34% 80
20.01% - 25% 100
20% or less 120

Generation VI onwards

If the target has used Minimize, Heat Crash now deals double its regular damage and bypasses accuracy checks to always hit, unless the target is in the semi-invulnerable turn of a move such as Dig or Fly.

Heat Crash will fail against a Dynamaxed target.

Generation VIII

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Heat Crash cannot be selected in a battle.
