(Japanese: ハシバ Hashiba) is a Pokémon Trainer from Fuchsia City.
In the anime
In the anime, Hashiba is a character of the day who appeared in JN021.
Hashiba met Ash and Goh while they were searching for a Pokémon Egg. Hashiba challenged Ash to a Normal Class World Coronation Series battle, which Ash accepted. Hashiba sent out his Tauros to battle Pikachu but was defeated, causing his rank to go down.

Tauros is Hashiba's only known Pokémon. He was used to battle Ash's Pikachu. Despite inflicting some damage on Pikachu, Tauros was defeated by Pikachu's Thunderbolt.

- Hashiba wears items that refer to his Pokémon; a headband with a drawing of Tauros' horns and a vest with cords resembling the tails of a Tauros.
- Hashiba's Japanese voice actor, Yasuhiro Mamiya, was born in Chiba Prefecture. Tateyama, the real-life counterpart of Fuchsia City, is also located in Chiba.
