Hashiba
(Japanese: ハシバ Hashiba) is a character of the day who appeared in JN021. He is from Fuchsia City.
Hashiba met Ash and Goh while they were searching for a Pokémon Egg. Hashiba challenged Ash to a Normal Class World Coronation Series battle, which Ash accepted. Hashiba sent out his Tauros to battle Pikachu but was defeated, causing his rank to go down.

| Tauros is Hashiba's only known Pokémon. He was used to battle Ash's Pikachu. Despite inflicting some damage on Pikachu, Tauros was defeated by Pikachu's Thunderbolt.
