(Japanese: ハシバ Hashiba) is a character of the day who appeared in JN021. He is from Fuchsia City.
Hashiba met Ash and Goh while they were searching for a Pokémon Egg. Hashiba challenged Ash to a Normal Class Pokémon World Championships battle, which Ash accepted. Hashiba sent out his Tauros to battle Pikachu but was defeated, causing his rank to go down.

Tauros is Hashiba's only known Pokémon. He was used to battle Ash's Pikachu. Despite inflicting some damage on Pikachu, Tauros was defeated by Pikachu's Thunderbolt.
