Haunter (Japanese: ゴースト Ghost) is a Psychic-type Stage 1 Pokémon card. It was first released as part of the Fossil expansion.

Release information
This card was included in the English Fossil expansion as both a Holofoil and Non-Holofoil card, first released in the Japanese Mystery of the Fossils expansion as only a Holofoil card. The Non-Holofoil print of this card was later reprinted in the English Legendary Collection expansion.
Trivia
Although this Pokémon is level 17, Gastly does not evolve into Haunter until level 25.
Origin
Nightmare is a move later introduced in the Generation II Pokémon games that Haunter can learn. This card's English Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Blue, whereas the Japanese entry comes from Pokémon Red and Green.
