The Gym Badge thieves are characters of the day in the Pokémon Chronicles episode The Blue Badge of Courage.
They are known traveling throughout the regions of the Pokémon world, stealing Gym Badges so they don't have to work hard for them and sometimes sell them to make some money. As Misty, Tracey and Sakura were visiting the Badge maker, Kinso in Rifure Village, they stole the Badges the trio had worked on. Sakura's Beautifly tracked down the thieves. After being defeated, they returned the Badges and quickly ran away, vowing to never steal any more Gym Badges.
